Often the information on a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) is too technical and extensive for the needs of employees on the work floor. A Workplace Instruction Card (WIC) illustrates the information on a SDS by means of clear pictograms and concise wording.
As an employer, you are under obligation to inform your employees about the dangers of chemical products, and a WIC is the perfect tool for such purpose. Your employees are then required to follow the instructions on the WIC correctly.
